PC POST #347: New images of Jon Bernthal as the Punisher fully geared up!

The wait is over for those who were expecting to see Jon Bernthal all geared up as the Punisher and of course seeing the skull.

Looks like that Frank got rid of the old trench coat which is great.

Doing his own homemade "skull" seems the right choice for someone like Frank who lives "off the grid".

I'm very excited for this upcoming series and i'm going to risk that this could be one of the most expected Marvel/Netflix series.

PC POST #343: New images with Frank Castle bruised and battered in new set photos!

A few days before of the announcement of Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio as part of the cast of Marvel's the Punisher, now GettyImages released photos with Frank Castle all bruised up on set in New York.

It's possible that we will see a realistic version of the "Battlevan" without all the perks and gadgets that we were presented back in the old days.

There is no news about the release date of this series but rumors says that it will be later this year.

PC POST #342: New Cast Member Revealed for Marvel's Punisher!

Photos leaked in 12nd of March on twitter by Marvel Netflix TH, shows Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio with Paul Schulze (casted as Rawlins) on set of Marvel's Punisher.

There is no more details about the her role but being Kathryn O'Brien is an open possibility. 

Mary Mastrantonio is a name well known in Hollywood and a safe bet from Marvel/Netflix in adding quality acting in Marvel's Punisher. Who are the winners here? Everyone of us.

PC POST #340: New photos on set with Frank Castle stealing a police car!

A few weeks after the last set of photos with Frank Castle visiting a grave, today it was leaked everywhere these new images on set with Frank Castle ( Jon Bernthal) stealing this police car. 

There is no information about this but i can guess that he's a dirty cop or Frank needs a fast escape route,

Jon Bernthal seems to be with the same clothes as we saw in the last set of photos.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Unfortunately there was no release date for the Punisher series, but it's rumored to be release in between November and December, after Marvel's Defenders.

PC POST #338: New images of Jon Bernthal on set as Punisher!

Today it was leaked by GettyImages and ComingSoon.net, some new Punisher images of the upcoming series of Marvel's Punisher. 

In the pictures we see Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) carrying some flowers. There is no information about what he is doing, but i would say he's going to pay tribute to his family or maybe something more fancy to get rid of someone.

Steve Lightfoot will be the Executive producer of Marvel's Punisher that will be premiere this year after Marvel's Iron fist and Marvel's Defenders,

I'm counting to see the Punisher series in the last quarter of this year.

PC POST #326: Five new actors added to Marvel's Punisher cast

Another bit of news were released today by Marvel announcing five new actors that will be part of Netflix original series "Marvel's The Punisher".

Daniel Webber (“11.22.63”) has been cast as Lewis Walcott, a young veteran who has had a difficult time re-assimilating into Civilian Society.

Jaime Ray Newman (“Bates Motel”) plays Sarah Lieberman, Micro’s wife (played by Ebon Moss-Bachrach) whose marriage has made her life far more complicated.

Jason R. Moore (“A Lonely Place for Dying”) joins as Curtis Hoyle, a friend of Frank Castle’s and one of the few people who knows he is alive.

Michael Nathanson (“The Knick,” “Wolf of Wall Street”) has been cast as Sam Stein, a Homeland agent who is challenged by his partnership with Dinah (Amber Rose  Revah).

Paul Schulze (“Nurse Jackie”) will play Rawlins, a high-ranking member of the CIA whose operations in Afghanistan intersect with Frank Castle.  

"We couldn't have asked for a more talented group of actors to round out the cast of Marvel's The Punisher," said Executive Producer and showrunner Steve Lightfoot. "It's a thrill to watch them each bring their characters to life with such layered, nuanced performances.”

"Marvel TV is very proud of the cast of The Punisher," said Executive Producer Jeph Loeb, "Each actors brings a special promise who surround Jon Bernthal's exceptional performance."

Deborah An Woll will reprise her role as Karen Page from Marvel’s Daredevil for Marvel’s The Punisher, alongside star Jon Bernthal as the Punisher himself, Frank Castle. Bernthal debuted in the role in Marvel’s Daredevil Season 2.

Steve Lightfoot (Hannibal) is writing the first two episodes of Marvel’s The Punisher for Netflix and will serve as series showrunner and Executive Producer. Jim Chory and Jeph Loeb are also executive producers.

Marvel’s The Punisher is produced by Marvel Television, in association with ABC Studios and Netflix. Marvel’s The Punisher will debut on Netflix in 2017.
