PC POST #400: Marvel's the Punisher adds two more characters to the cast!
Another two characters were added to Marvel's the Punisher cast. This time the hints are strong enough to make believe that the "Slavers" storyline might be a huge possibility, despite these characters have different names than the original characters who were in the comics.
Corbin Bernsen (“American Gods,” “Psych”) will play the role of Anderson Schultz, an extremely wealthy man who’s grown accustomed to getting his way. His power and legacy are of prime importance, and he’ll implement less-than legal means to further those ends.
Annette O’Toole (“Cat People,” “Smallville”) has been cast as Eliza Schultz, a conniving, wealthy woman, cut from the same manipulative cloth as her husband, Anderson.
Corbin Bernsten and Annette O'Toole joins the cast of Marvel's the Punisher season 2 when other actors were previously announced a few months back like Josh Stewart (“John Pilgrim”), Floriana Lima (“Krista Dumont”) and Giorgia Whigham (“Amy Bendix”).
It's curious to see in the Marvel article when they mentioned returning characters there is word about Ebon Moss-Bachrach ( "Micro"). It's not sure if he will come back for the second season, since his mission was over in season 1 and he lives happily with his family.

PC POST #396: Marvel's the Punisher announces new cast with Mennonite? No 'Micro' for season 2?
Yesterday was the beginning of the very first day of filming the Punisher season 2, and Marvel officially unveiled three new actors.
Josh Stewart (Shooter) was cast as "John Pilgrim" a man whose calm exterior belies a ruthless interior. Despite having left behind a life of violence, circumstances will force him to use his old skills and bring him into Frank Castle’s world.
Floriana Lima will play the role of “Krista Dumont,” a smart, compassionate, and driven psychotherapist for military veterans.
Giorgia Whigham has been locked to play “Amy Bendix,” a street-smart grifter with a mysterious past.
This pretty much gives us some hint that the "Slavers" might be a theme that we will all see in the upcoming Punisher season 2.
"Krista Dumont" can be a similar character as Jen Cooke and "Amy Bendix" could be Viorica.

The curious fact about the discription of "John Pilgrim" is that he remembered me a lot of Mennonite.
Mennonite appear in Jason Aaron's Punisher MAX, released in 2010. This character appeared in PunisherMAX #3-#5.
He was a highly trained assassin back in the day until he joined in the Mennonites. His wife saved his life and he left his past life of violence behind him, focusing in his wife health who suffered from severe illness.
Later on, he was contacted by the Mafia to take out Frank and once again he surrendered himself to the life he has left behind years ago and decided to hunt down Frank and he almost killed him.
The most strange fact is that in the article of Marvel, where they announced the cast they mentioned returning characters they didn't mention Ebon Moss-BachRach as 'Micro'.
"Stewart, Lima, and Whigham will join returning cast members Jon Bernthal as ‘Frank Castle,’ Ben Barnes as ‘Billy Russo,’ Amber Rose Revah as ‘Dinah Madani,’ and Jason R. Moore as ‘Curtis Hoyle.’"
So where is 'Micro'?
#Theory#
Lieberman is living a good life with his family. It doesn't make sense sacrificing his family to join forces with Frank, despite that he owes him for everything Frank did for his family.
But, if Billy Russo is coming back, he knows who Lieberman is and his family. I expect that Billy might want to take revenge and he will start with the ones closer to Frank. I could foresee a major incident involving Lierberman's family and getting him back in the game more focused on Frank's war. This is just a theory unless they want to give Frank a new sidekick and let rest Lieberman for a bit.
Let's wait and see what will happen.

PC POST 283: First leaked images from Punisher, Daredevil & Elektra in DD season 2!
While Netflix don't show the trailer that was watched in ComicCon Brasil earlier this month some user from twitter posted the upcoming images from Punisher and Daredevil.
This looks like it was taken from a magazine and we see Daredevil in chains, this scene might trigger some memories of Punisher fans that remember this similar scene in Garth Ennis run when he wrote "Welcome Back, Frank" miniseries.
Although i don't believe it will be an exact copy of this particularly scene but it could be something similar. The main importance of this scene and what should be portrayed in Daredevil season 2, is that the Punisher will leave Daredevil in a "no way out" situation. Either option he takes, he will "lose" and will cross his moral values.
I'm more and more excited and feel more confident about how Netflix will portray the Punisher.
Here is Elektra!

PC POST #280: [Exclusive]Daredevil S02 teaser from ComicCon Brazil (No video)
A few hours ago in the ComicCon Brazil it was revealed a second teaser of Daredevil season 2, unfortunately this time we don't have any video to show, just a description from a Tumblr user...
The “teaser” started on a scene where Matt, dressed as Daredevil (wearing the uniform from the end of season 1) walks on a room that looked like a refrigerator. The place was barely lit and had big slices of meat hanging from the ceiling.
As Daredevil walks on that room (the camera focused only at him) we see that he’s searching for something as he stays quiet, slowly walking deep into the room, turning his head trying to hear something. At some point, something not show to the spectator grasps his attention.
The camera open focus to the rest of the room and we see that there are also people being hanged like meat.
Matt searches the corpses with his super senses, not touching, only trying for heart beats, once he finds someone he rush to aid the man: “I’ll take you of that” (or something like it), he says as he tries to take the barely alive man off the hook.
After succeeding, he lays the guy (that I have no idea of how he could be alive considering how badly injured the dude was) on the ground and say something along the lines “Why did they do this to you?” In which the guy mumbles “They? It was just a guy”. Matt stays dead silent, camera focusing on him.
The scene shifts. It’s night time and someone is on the top of a building aiming a sniper riffle at a person on a taxi. I’m not sure if the person being aimed was a man or a woman, though it looked like a woman.
The man behind the gun is no one else but the Frank Castle. While Frank is readying his riffle for the perfect shot, unaware of his surroundings, DD appears.
Running on the rooftop, he jumps and kicks the gun, amazingly diving over Frank to stop him. They soon engage on a fight, but when it was getting interesting and intense as fuck the scene was cut with the Daredevil logo and “2016 - NETFLIX”.
Luckily we will have the teaser out in a few days like it happened with the last one, a big thank you for this tumblr user who shared this description for the fans!

PC POST #266: New Bernthal's set of photos as Punisher!
I'm happy to announce a new set of photos shared by "Just Jared" of Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher on set.
We still doesn't have any skull and personally i'm not worried. More and more i think this will be more the Punisher on Year One and we might have a skull in the midseason or near the end like it happened with Daredevil... Or we have a third option that we don't have any skull during these series and only in the Punisher (solo) series they will unveil a Punisher skull.
I could live with that.

PC POST #263: Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle in action!
How amazing are these scenes? We don't have the punisher skull but so far as we know, he could be in public taking out someone or he doesn't have a skull yet... I don't care for it, this looks awesome!
Can't wait for 2016!!! For the second season of Daredevil!

PC POST #254: Jon Bernthal As the Punisher in Daredevil Season 2
I guess someone from Marvel have read all the fuss by the fans demanding the Punisher appearence in Daredevil series... It was almost inevitable...
But finally it was confirmed by Marvel, Jon Bernthal will be the next Punisher and he will be featuring in Daredevil's season 2 !
Jon as "Shane" in Walking Dead was one of my top 3 favorite characters, so i can imagine him as doing a great work as the Punisher.
Jeph Loeb said: “Jon Bernthal brings an unmatched intensity to every role he takes on,
with a potent blend of power, motivation and vulnerability that will
connect with audiences, Castle’s appearance will bring dramatic changes to the world of Matt Murdock and nothing will be the same.” -Marvel
It seems they have a plan for him, with right portrayal and good script he can be THE PUNISHER. Altough he needs to train a bit to get perfectly shaped for the role. I bet someone is already taking care of this.
Great picture, with the without a doubt the best Punisher of the last 15 years by Garth Ennis.
Hey Jon Bernthal! Look at this one too!
