PC POST #273: Exclusive Teaser for Daredevil S02 [Explained] (Punisher & Elektra)

Yesterday at New York Comic Con was revealed to the public a small teaser with 33 secs for the upcoming Daredevil season 2!

Here is the leaked teaser... Sorry for the bad quality, it's all we have for now.

Yesterday at New York Comic Con was revealed to the public a small teaser with 33 secs for the upcoming Daredevil season 2!

Here is the leaked teaser... Sorry for the bad quality, it's all we have for now.

Let's review the main points of this trailer. Basically it's centered in Elektra and Punisher. Being the Punisher the main attraction of this teaser.

We have Elektra a bit different from the comics and using some sort of mask or veil, like a ninja.
In the comics she uses a red bandana.

We see someone in a crime scene picking up a bullet.

Karen seems to pick an x-ray sheet with a stylized skull, which might be the next Punisher logo in the series.

Finally we see Frank walking in a hospital holding a gun, which leads us to the crime scene we saw above. I suspect that this is before whatever will happen in that hospital.

And at the end of the teaser we heard the Punisher say "Beg".

What a great way to end this teaser and leave every Punisher fan nuts.

PC POST #272: Punisher 1/6 scale figure from Sideshow Collectibles

PUNISHER 6TH SCALE FROM SIDESHOW COLLECTIBLES

For those who don't yet, this amazing figure is available since 8th of October for pre-order, so if you want it, you should reserve your figure right now by clicking here.

When i first saw the first shots taken at a con a few months back, i was very impressed by the design of this figure.
I really liked the fact they used two styles in this figure a more modern (spray painted skull and a cool sweat) with a classic look (white boots and gloves). And they did it right in my opinion.

I really liked the fact they choose a more "older" Frank Castle instead of the younger portrayals in the last Punisher runs.
To me, Frank Castle will always be a war veteran more or less between his 50's and 60's.

Here is the Punisher arsenal in this package, it is only missing the sub-machine gun which is an exclusive from Sideshow.

The sub machine gun as i said, it's an exclusive item. It's only available for the orders made in Sideshow's website.

What do you think about this great figure?

PC POST #271: Enter the Outlaw aka Nigel Higgins!

Contest of Champions #1 is almost here and i felt that i need to make an introduction to Nigel Higgins for those fans who don't know the character. In some interviews it was stated that he will be one of the main characters of this book.

Contest of Champions will be released next week in 7th of October, written by Al Ewing and you can check out the preview here.

He is a character that is directly related to the Punisher and i will follow this book and make reviews about his appearences.

Who is Nigel Higgins?

Nigel Higgins in a sentence is a Punisher fanboy. He lives in London and fight crime in his hometown like the Punisher did in New York.

Skills: Proficient in the use of firearms, motorcycles and computers. Uses a kevlar body armor.
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 180 lbs.

The first time he worked with the Punisher was in the "Eurohit" arc, Punisher and Outlaw destroyed Kinpin's plans to make a chunnel to unite Europe's mobs under his rule.

Later on, he appear during "Suicide Run" arc, he traveled to US after heard rumors about the Punisher death, he aided the Punisher during a fierce battle in Pensylvannia against multiple opponents.

His last appearence in a Punisher comic was during annual 7, "Eurohit '94", when he helped the Punisher to get rid of Architect and stop him to remake the chunnel to form a european syndicate.

Until we have a Punisher ongoing, i think i'm going to enjoy to see Outlaw back again after more than 20 years of absence. Specially in what it seems a very entertaining story like Contest of Champions!

See you next week in October 7th for Contest of Champions #1!

PC POST #270: -PREVIEW- Contest of Champions #1

Welcome back, Nigel Higgins aka Outlaw!

After 20 years, he is back and he is fighting for his life in Contest of Champions. On sale 7th October. As usual count with a review for this issue. He isn't the Punisher, but he is related with him, he deserves it for all his background with Frank Castle.

One cool thing is that, they changed the skull. He isn't with the regular Punisher skull as shown in the preview cover.

PC POST #269: OUTLAW is back for CONTEST OF CHAMPIONS.

For those who don't remember the Outlaw, he is a big fan of the Punisher work and he operates in London. He appeared in many comics back in the 90's such as in the Eurohit and Suicide Run arc.

It's good to see some characters back from the past back but i'm somewhat afraid of what Marvel has in store for Frank Castle. Specially now that he will appear in Daredevil season 2. It would be dumb if they waste a chance of launching a book with the "real" Punisher at the same time season 2 is out.

What we know for now is that he will appear in Contest of Champions #1, with other lesser known characters from Marvel Universe.

There are other interesting characters like Carlos Cruz or J.R.Walker aka Shotgun that could be a "safe bet", in my humble opinion.

Let's wait for more news regarding this upcoming issue #1 of Contest of Champions.
